symptoms

DGT Easy, Easy+

   

Display remains empty when switched on

Battery may be exhausted

 

Check the condition of the batteries or try new batteries

 

When you are sure the battery is OK and the terminals do touch the battery in a proper way follow returning instructions

The clock makes a rattling noise when shaken

The batteries may have too much room in their compartment

 

Put a strip of paper in the battery compartment

 

The buzzer is not well attached to the housing

 

Open the clock with the 6 screws on the bottom and try to glue the buzzer on the housing. See Note 1)

One segment of the display stays blank

The lever has a distinct preference for one side to fall back on

The lever will not stay on either side

The switching of the lever or pushing the player buttons (960) has no effect

The clock is not standing on all 4 rubber pads at the same time

Check if all 4 screws on the corners are really tight.
If necessary loosen one of the screws that don't touch the table.

Your clock will be replaced within two weeks by your retailer

The date of purchase is more than 6 month ago, but less than 2 years

Your clock will be replaced or repaired within three weeks by your retailer

The date of purchase is more than 2 years ago

the clock cannot economically be repaired by DGT, please try to repair it yourself or dispose of it as electronic waste
